A friend had an ex-JNB (or ex-AKL, I forgot which, he did one of each) AONE5 issued by QF directly-- on red carbon stock (but not hand-written) and he had no problems whatsoever using all the coupons, in fact, it even benefited him (quite a bit, in fact) on several occasions-- where the x's would have been. I'd be psyched to have a ticket with the x missing on the 2nd time through the U.S.
