Bizarre credit problem
I had a RTW AONE5 issued by AA in Cairo.
I had it reissued by QF on QF stock in Auckland.
My flight SYD-JFK was booked as an AA codeshare.
I have my QF Frequent Flyer card in at checkin, and it was printed on the boarding pass.
The segment SYD-JFK then posted to my AAdvantage Account.
Weird?

You need to update your FFP number in AA sabre
I suspect your original reservation was booked with AA using AA flight number and AAdvantage number. This has happened to me a few times. It seems to me that QF computer only passes the flight info to AA as it was booked under AA flight number; it is the AA computer which process the credit using whatever number was entered on their end. 
You would need to call AA to change your FFP prior to flight. I don't know if you could reverse it now. It didn't matter much to me at the time. Also note that QF flight with QF code shows up in QF account within hours, while QF flight with AA code would show up after about one week. My guess is that the flight info gets passed to AA computer, than passed back to QF computer, if booked with QF FFP. Funny the way it works.

One more thing, some AAgents may entered your QF FFP as the secondery number for the itinerary with AAdvantage as the primary number. The AA computer will still credit AA coded flights to AAdvantage number unless they do a segment select. It is best to remove AAdvantage number from your reservation if you want to ensure credit to QF or other FFP.

I also had a weird experience after having a DONE4 re-issued in SYD. It was originally hand-written by Emeco in CAI and then re-issued by the AA ticket office in N. Sydney.
My next onward segment was an open QF segment SYD-AKL. I confirmed a date/time directly with QF. At check-in, my AAdvantage # appeared on the boarding card but the flight did not get credited to my account. Every other segment on the entire itinerary was properly credited.
I am guessing that the reason the flight did not get credited was because it was never booked in AA's res system but that should not make a difference. Or should it?
