SYD-SIN, BA or QF?

SYD-SIN, BA or QF?
Planning a RTW (oneworld Explorer) and have the option of either BA or QF for SYD-SIN, any thoughts on the best option? I am a BA Exec member and not flown QF before... Would using QF make much difference on the fare?

They both have significant fuel surcharges. I believe QF would be worse, but that may just be for flights from the US.
