Arrow OneWorld Lounge at DPS

Don't want to start a new thread. Where is the best thread / sub / wiki to ask about the lounge at DPS (Bali Indonesia) for OneWorld? I am looking at a cheap Jetstar flight versus a twice the price Qantas flight from Melbourne to Bali and wondering if its worth it to pay for Qantas... they haven't been an amazing airline so far in my opinion, flown them a lot these last 6 weeks. Not that Jetstar can be any good... Other than baggage allowance the main benefit would likely be lounge access (you earn piddly miles on economy flights crediting to AA) but when I look at the OneWorld Lounge Access rules, it says there is only 1 lounge for OneWorld and ONLY Qatar, Malaysia and Cathay flyers can use it...

Yea, looking at the oneworld website it appears that QF doesn't provide access to the lounge in DPS, so this is really a moot point.

That said, even if QF did provide access, I can tell you with 110% certainty that the DPS lounge is NOT something I would ever in a million years consider paying double the airfare to get access to.

It's a typical 3rd party lounge. I've used it twice departing DPS on QR, perfectly 'ok' spot to plop down for 20 mins before your flight and grab a bag of pretzels and a beer, but nothing more.

Last time I flew Air Asia out of DPS, no lounge access and I survived. Just go to a bar in the terminal.

QF definitely provides lounge access, but I agree it is not worth the premium over JQ.

Historically both lounges at DPS allowed in Priority Pass and similar memberships. I believe the one remaining lounge still allows Priority Pass access.

So MEL-DPS-MEL? For departure from DPS to MEL?

For 3rd party lounges carefully check access eligibility.
