Interline Baggage Transfer from UL to MH

Hi There,

I am traveling on two separate tickets from CMB to BOM (UL) and BOM-KUL (MH).
- UL is Y and MH is J ticket
- AA EXP / OWE
- 4 hour transit time in BOM
I have no issues exiting BOM airport if needed if they do not interline but
would prefer to do it so I avoid going through Indian Immigration, pick bags, clear customs,
recheck and go through Emigration, Security etc...
I have two questions..
- Will UL interline ?
- Will MH give me a paper BP in the transit area at BOM ? If not I can try to get in CMB..
Thanks...

From post 125 in this thread "yes" to UL interline (2016). But as always nothing can be guaranteed

Bag interlining issues and OW policy changes (Combined threads)

UL is one of the better airlines when interlining on two separate tickets. Never had an issue or a problem. UL will most likely give you your MH boarding pass as well; this USUALLY happens when I interline from UL to QR/MH. Never tried it in India though.

UL check in agent at CMB has checked in my luggage CMB - AUH on UL and then AUH - LHR on BA, both separate tickets on separate PNRs. The former was a revenue ticket booked on the UL website, and the latter was an award ticket booked with BA. Did not go through passport control/immigration in AUH.

Check in was at the Business class counter. You should be fine. The only exception is if the airport insists on passengers collecting their luggage and checking it in again.
