advice on future immigration flight for spouse (To US)

My spouse has her immigration visa interview coming up. She will be moving from Kyiv, Ukraine, to Phoenix, Arizona.
I'm really at a loss on how I can best get her here using Oneworld because....
1. Phoenix only has nonstop international flights through LHR (BA and AA)
2. BA/Oneworld no longer runs a route to Kyiv from LHR (KBP) as I understand.
3. USA Immigration and border control is at Port of Entry to US, regardless of connecting flights
4. UK requires a transit visa for Ukrainian passport holders
5. fllying through LHR would require changing airlines/alliance
6. Awards redemptions to US have very steep fees.

This is rather hopeless isn't it.

if your criteria is OneWorld a one way on QR is very reasonably priced to LAX. Drive or internal flight after that
