Australia based - a DONE 4 with Qantas?

I have been buying DONE 4 trips for years now. The weakness of the AUD and the cost of repositioning have me thinking I might have to buy this one out of Australia and let Qantas manage it.

Has anyone had experience with QF managing the fare? Do they charge for date changes? Is it worth trying to get AA to ticket it? Any advice appreciated.

I was unaware that there are problems with purchasing a RTW from AA. I've purchased nearly all of mine from AA. What have you heard/experienced?

No problem as such. Just wondered if Qantas are capable of managing a DONE X fare.

If I were to get a Australian originated LONEx, I would let a local TA manage it with the airline. Though that would likely not avoid the QF service fees.

YMMV especially when wandering

Other FT reports indicate that QF is quite capable of managing a One World Explorer fare.

From my experience so long as you find an experienced member from Hobart then you will be fine in booking and amending a DONE4/5
