Premium Check In Denied
While waiting for CX check-in desk to open (Terminal 2 CGK), my wife spotted a premium Check-in Lounge (Premium Check-in located on the left hand side of the check in counters, just next to counter #12 ).
We went there just to be bounced back.
Did anyone else experience this refusal?

Never been to CGK, but it sounds like one of those premium check-in desk operated by ground handling companies for selected credit card holders or those who purchased VIP services and unrelated to FFP benefits.

That check-in area seems to allow passengers to enter directly inside the Premier Lounge, therefore immigration and check-in would be done there.
It would have been nice to give it a try.
Unfortunately I did not notice any Credit Card signs or opportunity to purchase VIP services, I will pay more attention the next time.
It looked (and I have been told by the agent there) like access was granted only to passengers flying business and/of first. All airlines operating at Terminal 2 were mentioned on the board.

They said I was flying economy and that check in area was for business and first class passengers only
Any attempt to explain my status ended up in the same typical rubber wall answer: this area is for business and first class passengers only.
