Earning Tier Points and Avios with Qatar?
We usually fly with BA whenever possible and book via their web site. We are planning a trip to New Zealand and flights from Manchester are much more convenient (and better prices) with Qatar. I can not find the Qatar flights from the BA site, how do I go about booking a flight with a oneworld partner so that I earn Tier Points and Avios? Also, how does the number of Tier Points and Avios earned compare to what I would have earned with BA (Business)?

Book your flights on qatarairways.com
You will be able to add your BAEC number during the booking process
As for the Tier Points and Avois earning:
You will be able to add your BAEC number during the booking process
As for the Tier Points and Avois earning:
- I don't know

- I suggest you look on ba.com
- Or ask in the BA forum

MAN DOH AKL is 140 + 160 one way.
Avois a lot less, no elite bonus, and depending on the bonus class, cabin bonus is rather small comparing to BA flights. typically 25%.
(BA D class has 150% cabin bonus, and BA gold get a bunch for elite bonus on top)
