Yet another begging post for AONE help...

Hi all,
I'm proposing to do my first AONE4 in July and would like some comments please. The route that I'm thinking about is:
BKK-HKG, SYD, PER, BNE, SYD, LAX, HNL, SFO, MIA, EWR, LHR, AGP (Malaga), LHR, SIN, BKK.
Stopovers in HKG (where I'm based), SYD, HNL, SFO, MIA, AGP and LHR.
It's all your fault for doing this (hehe...thanks all), because I actually only need to go to Malaga for a mate's wedding, but your talk here has got me thinking! I'd like to maximise MPC miles for status purposes - my usual 70k-odd miles a year are almost exclusively on CX so it seems to me to make sense in getting Diamond.
a) Does the route as it stands fit the rules?

b) Can it be made more efficient for MPC miles? The only stopovers necessary are HNL, LHR and AGP.
I'm still a tad confused about the rules, and any help would be most kind of you. I might even buy you a beer if you're in HKG at some point...
Cheers all,
Nick.

SYD/LAX/HNL/SFO violates backtracking rule about HNL.
Your itinerary should be something like

.../BNE/SYD/HNL/SFOorLAXorDFWorORD/MIA/...

A lot of discussion and suggestion about mileage run in North America were maed in this Forum.
ANC is one good point for mileage run in Summer.

About Europe, LHR/CAI, LHR/IST is popular route for mileage accural.

LHR-DXB-LHR is the best - and can be done as a turnaround....

Wow, that was quick - thanks.

I'd forgotten about the HNL restriction. Bit of a pain, but I'd like to spend a few days there so I'll change to SYD-HNL-DFW.
Thanks again.

You can't do SYD-PER-BNE-SYD. Can only do SYD-PER, BNE-PER, SYD-DRW or MEL-DRW once.

HKG-MEL-PER-BNE-SYD would be OK

Read the old posts. Plenty of advise on the rules

Keep in mind that QF's SYD-HNL flight is a two-class service. If your doing an AONE ticket, you'll not be in first on this flight. In my mind, buying an AONE ticket and not flying in F (CX F to be precise) on my transpac flight would be sacreligious, but, then again, I don't have much interest in Hawaii. You might want to price a west coast of the U.S.-HNL ticket or skip HNL all together so you can fly F on the transpac flight.
