New LanChile Destination

Another flight possibility to add to your Oneworld RTW trip but looks like it is an all economy class flight - Santiago to Salvador de Bahia, Brazil -2482 miles. Flight leaves SCL Friday night and has a 50 minute turnaround in SSA on Saturday morning. Although from what I've heard about Salvador anyone who did it as a mileage run and wasn't happy to spend a week there would be crazy (definition of a Flyertalker, perhaps)

This could prove useful to me on future award trips. However, I can't seem to locate details of the flights on LanChile.com. Any further details or links available?

Might be seasonal -- or being dropped. It doesn't seem to show up after 27 Feb 2004.

Thanks for the updated info. I couldn't see it as it isn't in the timetable section and I was looking at dates later in the year. Times aren't too bad either.

Hopefully it's seasonal and will return next year even if it's only one class of service is available. Given the aircraft is 2 class, there is the off chance that LA will give an upgraded seat to a OW elite as occasionally happens to/from Easter Island.
