A question about OWE-rules

Now, I have a problem:
1. I have an OWE-booking (AONE4) ex-CAI /price from EMECO 29150EGP+taxes per ticket.
2. I didn't pay for it before now.
3. I want add 2 sectors and change a date for a flight
4. All additions do not contradict the published rules OWE (without surcharges for additional sectors)

The question - What price wil be, if I done all changes after payment?

If you haven't paid for it (i.e. the ticket hasn't been issued) then unfortunately the price is no longer valid. When the ticket is issued you will be charged the current price, which is about 40% higher.

You can change whatever you want until the ticket is issued.

Some minutes ago I received acknowledgement on the made booking and the fixed price (29150) from EMECO.
Whether there is at you an information - Whether there will be former a price if I shall make to change after release of tickets?

Get the ticket issued and paid for immediately.

You can make changes after ticketing. Assuming no additional continents or excess segments are added, the changes will either be free (if made before departure) or cost US$75 (if made after departure).

Am I write - I can add some segments (inside a continent without extra payments) after ticketing and price for the changes will be 75USD only (without recalculation fare at the moment of change)?

Yes, as long as you don't exceed the number of free segments within a continent. However, in addition to the reissue fee of $75, you will have to pay additional taxes/fees (for the added segments).

As ak said, the base fare will not change as long as you do not exceed the number of allowed free segments and continents. Also, as you are issuing the ticket in IATA area 2, you will not have to pay the US$75, if you make the changes before your first flight.

In addition to the airport taxes and fees for your new destination(s), if you reissue with BA, you may be hit with a 25 fee for their work. At the moment BA is the only one charging this extra fee and they do not seem to do it at all locations.

Thanks again, ExMo!!!
And a question (if you have the info): Can I use BA-local office or AA-local office (in my country), if the ticket issued EMECO (Cairo)?
Best regards!!!

When you have the ticket in your hand you can, in principle, ask any OneWorld ticketing office to do any modifications foryou. In practice it is often easier to ask the airline on whose stock the ticket isprinted.

I need to add a caution here. If your ticket has an issue date of 19 January 2004 or later you may run into a problem with the reissue. They may want to charge you the new fare, claiming that EMECO issued the ticket in error. This assumes that the new fares went into affect for all OW carriers on 19 January. If the issue date is before 19 January then you will definitely not be liable for the new fare.

Might it not be easiest to ask EMECO to reissue when you are in Cairo, or even before you pick up the ticket?
