Changing Carrier After Ticketing. Needs to be Reissued?
Hi All,
I just changed some dates on my OWE. On of the date changes was my QF flight from JFK to SYD. When making the date change, the RTW AAgent changed it to the AA codeshare for the same flight (AA 7366).
I am more than happy to have AA get the money for this flight and would have booked it under the AA codeshare originally had I known of its existence, but now, I am ticketed on the QF flight (QF is the prefix in the airline box on the ticket) and have a reservation on the AA flight number.
Is this a problem? I do not want to deal with a reissue if I can avoid it, but if it is not a problem, I am happy for AA to get the money for this flight.
Thanks!

Should not be a problem - the xONEx tickets explicitly state valid on AA/BA/QF/CX/IB/....etc - I have changed carriers many times from that ticketed and never had to reissue.
