Do It!--Bring Alaska Into OneWorld

AS is already FF partners with AA, BA, CX, LA
and QF. Bring them in. Little overlap with AA flights, and they would vastly improve service along the West Coast and into Mexico.

Don't forget Alaska also code-shares with KL/NW/CO. If KL/NW/CO enters Skyteam or create their own alliance, Alaska may not consider OW as the only alliance they'll join.

Seems more of a pipe dream (hey mon, wotcha smokin'?) now. ALK (AS+QX corporate entity) is reportedly inking a deal with DAL for marketing and codesharing. So ALK will deal with both what-will-become SkyTeam as well as oneWorld. I wonder when AF and KE will start some arrangement with ALK?

If anyone else is to be admitted would prefer they admit EK (Emirates). Not as well connected on code-shares as AS but have you seen their new F class - awesome !!

I believe EK also is very interested in the SkyTeam though all the major alliances would like to sign them up. Like JAL they seem to be mulling things over and don't seem to be in any hurry to choose an alliance.

I just had a look at the EK new F product - amazing. Especially those privacy sliding doors and the mini-bar
