OneWorld Timetable Planner
I have been use the OneWorld Timetable Planner to plan an ATW trip. I just updated, and note that certain flights are missing. (For example, HKG-DEL is present in Feb, but not on 5/11/04). However, if I go to Travelocity/Expedia, flights for HKG-DEL exist for 5-11-04).
This is very disconcerting. How can I plan a trip if not sure of flight availability?
The advantage of the downloaded trip planners is obvious: they are much faster.
If I use Cathay's downloadable trip planner, the 5-04 trips above are available. But I find the Cathay product more difficult to use.
Any suggestions? What do you guys do?
Thanks. Terry

The oneworld electronic planner usually only has dates out for 6 months or so... even though the flights may be in the CRS's beyond that. I've noticed that CX schedules are particularly bad.. sometimes they'll only list a few months out at a time.

Its on aa.com under the electronic timetables link on the left.
LA and CX schedules don't change very much, by the way. The main changes are to the CX transatlantic flights that are changed due to daylight savings time and the winter jetstream. Otherwise, the schedules are pretty steady.
The reason the flights dont come up on 5/11/04 is because in the timetable there are "start" dates and "end" dates, and if an airline programs in an end date before 5/11, it won't come up. But obviously it doesnt mean the flight isnt there. CX753 is the same time and the same route on 5/11 as it is on 10/11.
