Gibraltar RTW ticketing

Does anyone have any experience of issuing RTW DONE out of Gibraltar?
How efficient are they and is it easy being non-resident?
Your help advice would be most welcome!
Thanks

Contact Henry Casciaro at Bland Travel in Gibraltar: [email protected]. He can issue RTW tickets starting in GIB and can mail them to any address outside Gibraltar. He did two AOWE tickets for me extremely smoothly and efficiently. You can use any credit card.

It may not be often posted, but it's often done.

That I know first-hand

I guess I was thinking it might be better not to call too much attention to it.

Can those who have done it confirm that they subsequently had no problem using the tickets? (Presumably excluding the first coupon...)

When a distant agent purchases tickets on your behalf and mails them to you before start of travel, you still must eventually travel to the first origination city, and use the first coupon. Your agent's services may be useful if there's an advance purchase requirement, or you'd like to nail down a price for a trip somewhat into the future, or you'd just like to have tix in hand ahead of time.

Thanks JohnAx - I knew that though.

Would anyone care to answer the question I asked (by email if you prefer)?

Thanks for the contact, he was very helpful and answered all my questions very quickly. Under 5k for AONE - much cheaper than ex-UK.

If your question was - unbelievably - "can I buy an OWE starting in a cheap country, and then throw away the first coupon and not even start in that country?" whatever answer you get in the email should be promptly flushed down the toilet. It would be amusing to have that choice, but so blatantly illegal you'd be begging to be the first guy caught and made an example of. We can only push this bargain travel so far before the goose croaks.

But I probably misunderstood your question, so don't take offense - I do dim things like that too often.

I don't think you did. My suggestion is that we not do this in "full view" as it were.

I personally would never throw away the first coupon.
