RTW or Circle Pacific?

To the experts in pricing and rules..I need your assistance.

I tell you what are my needs first, and in the second part what are my thoughts. I would appreciate your advice/comments

Goal: (all Stopovers, does not include connections I may need) - Business Class. Departure: July 16 - Return: August 6.

JKF-LAX-SYD-HKG-SIN-CGK-DPS-ICN-PHT-BKK-JFK

Thoughts:
Split in two reservations:
1 -Jakarta/Bali; Phuket in separate tickets:
ie: SIN-CGK-DPS-SIN & BKK-PHT-BKK

2 -Thus, the rest of itinerary could be:
JKF-LAX-SYD-HKG-SIN-ICN-BKK-JFK
Considering:
In Singapore, I connect to Ticket #1 - Go to Jakarta and Bali, but need to return to Singapore to connect to flight to Seoul. No problem doing this dispite this increase an extra connection in the flight from Bali-Seoul.
From S. Korea I flight to Bangkok using this ticket instead of going to Phuket direcly. I do RT Phuket with the prior ticket.

For this "Second: ticket, I considered 2 options:

2A -Pacific Circle. ( consider I pay extra for JFK) - Don't know if JFK-LAX considered against the 29K mileage cap - If yes, this does not qualify.
JKF-LAX-SYD-HKG-SIN-xHKG-ICN-xHKG-BKK-xHKG-xVancouver-JFK.
Flights: AA-QF-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX

2B -RTW (Pay extra segment in Asia since there are 5.)
JFK-LAX-SYD-HKG-SIN-xHKG-ICN-xHKG-BKK-xLHR-JFK
Flights: AA-QF-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-CX-BA-BAorAA
I guess this would be a DONE4 ?
Also question: if the last segment (LHR-JFK), I do xLHR-MEX-xMIA-EWR, and LHR-MEX I flight in BA, does this segment counts for mileage in AAdvantage?

I would apprecaite your comments, and/or other ideas to lower the price of my goal itinerary. Order of Stopovers are not flexible -- Connections and flights are.

Thank you!

An option that might be worthwhile considering (depending on whether you're looking for miles or not and can stand some time in cattle class) is to investigate the Cathay Pacific All Asia pass ( www.cathay-usa.com/offers/aap/subdefault.asp ) - at US$699 it would get you to every destination you have listed except for LA, Sydney and Phuket.

So you could purchase that, fly NYC-HKG (upgrade to Business class is listed at $1099 e/w), buy the add-on ticket for the HKG-SYD return leg (listed at $500), and the rest in Asia except Phuket is all taken care of. Something to consider anyway if you're more interested in the travel and the cost rather than clocking up miles - though it may be too much time in Economy given your stated interest in going Business class.

(edited to include Business class details)
