Help/Question
Hi all,
Can someone please help with two questions.
1.
I was flying from Seoul to HK last week with Cathay, they moved me off the Cathay flight as it was delayed and I was going to miss my connection to London. I was moved to a budget Asian airline. I assume I will forgo the teir point and Avios I should have been giving?
2.
My connection flight was also Cathay Pacific from HK to London.
Whilst, they moved me the budget airline was delayed by an hr resulting in me missing my flight, when I landed Cathay Pacific ground staff met me and had a boarding pass for another Cathay flight 1hr later.
My question is. Will I get my tier points and Avios for this flight?
Can someone please help with two questions.

So, you were booked on CX for ICN-HKG-LHR.
The aircraft for ICN-HKG was late, so CX moved you to another airline.
The other airline was late anyway and upon arrival in HKG, CX moved you to the next HKG-LHR flight?
You should get points credited to BA for the HKG-LHR without issue unless CX did something to the FF number when they rebooked you.
Contact BA, tell them what happened and what flights you were booked on and ask for Original Routing Credit.
That should get you points as per what was booked rather then what was flown.

As this thread was cross-posted on the BA board (which is where it belongs) I'm closing this thread.
