Got the itinerary. Now to max the miles
Thanks to all for your help in finally managing to lock down our GE rtw itinerary:
yyz-mia-uio-scl-akl-nan-apw-akl-syd-jnb-mad-vie-lhr-yyz.
There were some dicey moments along the way as the process has taken several months. Thanks to this forum I was able to remedy several misconceptions on my TA's part and get what we wanted.
To address the last of the fine points, I am still clueless about maximizing airmiles. The 5 of us, for budgetary reasons, are flying M class throughout and as we come in just under the 34K mile limit, cannot fly AA across the pond from LHR. In fact the only AA legs are yyz-mia-uio. Does this mean that we will not receive 100% air mile credits throughout the rest of the trip? Should we get BA FF numbers for the trans-Atlantic leg? Any advice would, as always, be much appreciated.
