1st class sleeper suits survey

I am trying to complete my collection of 1st class sleeper suits before all 1st class servcie disappers from the airlines. Please provide any comment about the following.

AA - no, but did they ever offer them?
AY - no 1st class, so I assume none.
BA - yes, have a pair that needs replacement
CX - yes, but why are they so 'roomy' ?
EI - no 1st class, never seen them on-board
IB - ??, does anyone fly IB 1st class?
LA - ??, never flown them.
QF - yes, love the Qantas logo on the top.

Lan Chile does not offer sleep suits, but does offer duvets.

CX has normal sized ones too (those are called "medium" but are really large). However they stock mostly large and XXL (they must know their clientelle). They are the nicest of the OW pyjamas thanks to the cut and the fabric (which wears very well).
By contrast the BA ones fall apart after a washing or two, while the QF last but are less comfortable than the CX.

Not on your list are the non-OW airlines with nice pyjamas: SQ with the Givenchy designed ones (similar to CX but available in a dozen colors, some actually nice) and LH with the Bogners (and a neon LH FC sign, making them unusable except for washing cars). A shame as the Bogners are excellent quality. No pants though (typical Germans).

Actually the nicest for fit, cut, material and general appearance are JAL sleeper suits - only problem is they don't let you keep them - on loan only.

QF Sleeper Suits come in blue and white, agree they're pretty flimsy...haven't collected from the others...

I'd much rather have too large pyjamas than too small ones.

CX seem to stock slippers and pyjamas in three sizes: small, medium, large. For those passengers whom I've seen change into them on board, I've never seen anyone in them who looks like a tent...

Lufthansa has changed the style of their sleep shirt. The Lufthansa First class lettering is now inside the shirt just under the collar. The lettering is the same colour as the shirt and is not visible from the outside. It has a nice zipper with a B as the zipper handle. The amenity kit has also changed to a zippered notebook with notepad and pencil. Of course, all the usual inventory is inside. I just flew YVR/FRA/AMS in F/J today--and the service was flawless!

CX includes a neat 4-way pen/pencil/highlighter in their toiletries kit. Must be a trend to taking notes in flight ... maybe CX and LH are trying to encourage more trip reports.
