OWE ex-BKK ticketing....HELP!
I need to get a four continent OWE in first ASAP beginning in BKK. I have tried Chawla travel, but response is shaky. Any suggestions from all my colleagues here? I would rather not ticket via the AA RTW desk.....

If it's urgent and you don't have time to shop around why not go direct to the BA/QF office. I have worked with them before on a couple of tickets and found them to be very responsive. You will pay full book rate for the ticket though.

If you want to use a creditcard, go to the airlines direct.
In Bangkok, Thai travel agents will impose a surcharge on any creditcard purchase even if its full fare. They will net the fare down, add a markup... then the creditcard surcharge. But on the ticket, it will read 'cash'. That will be difficult to prove to creditcard insurance agencies should anything go amiss.. ie luggage.
