Phuket on OneWorld

At least given the initial research I have done, I think the answer is no, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Is there anyway to get all the way to Phuket (from the US) on OneWorld.

All the options seem to be either *A (ie Thai, Austrian and Singapore) or non-aligned like DragonAir.

Any ideas?

I think my best bet is probably to fly to BKK and then just pay for a Thai flight.

Likely the best solution. Flights inside Thailand are really inexpensive.

Yes, OW will only get you as close as BKK. BTW if Bangkok Air is a choice, don't overlook them. They're really nice. They fly mostly ATR's to Koh Samui, and I'm not sure if they serve Phuket at all.

Don't forget also that on Dragonair from HKG you can earn and redeem AsiaMils. You can also get some good flight/hotel deals at http://www.kaholidays.com
