Some of you might weep over this routing...
My cousins have just purchased a OWE 3 in First Class from Thailand. But they need to return to asia so have to zip through their trip rather quickly.
Some of you might weep over their routing for not making full use of the maximum number of sectors. (I almost did!)
BKK-LHR BA - F
LHR-CDG BA - C
CDG-LHR BA - C
LHR-YVR BA - F

my shortest OWE were
hkg-lhr-lis-lhr-lax-hkg in 11 days
hkg-fra//txl-lhr-jfk-hkg. in 7 days
and a few of lis-lhr-hkg-jfk-bos-lhr-lis
sadly, none of my OWE comes up to over 30k miles. all of them are ONE3 in the northern hemisphere. it is a real pity.
nevertheless i am still saving my company/client money, while increasing my miles by some 20-50%, and got to stop by some place i like to for 1 day or 2.

I have done several DONE4's with:
BNE-LAX-DFW-LGW//LHR-HKG-BNE
with the only stopover being my two weeks at DFW. Just worked out considerably cheaper than J return BNE-DFW, and I didn't have the time to do any more.

But if you do decide to do the above ... you'd be throwing money away if you go for the RTW. It's cheaper if done in NUCs.
