Enlightenment as to how best to accrue AA miles

I have just about made up my mind to become a member of AA and try my best to accrue non-flight miles on AA , ie credit card, promotions etc.

I would appreciate enlightenment as to how best to accrue AA miles, esp non-flight? I hear that there are AA miles for sale on their website. Is the price reasonable?

Credit cards (there's a 10,000-mile bonus for a new Citibank AAdvantage business MasterCard; call 800-451-3113), AT&T long-distance phone service (5,000-mile bonus; 10,000 if you also sign up for other AT&T services), iDine restaurants, sending flowers. (If you don't have anyone to send flowers to, e-mail me for suggestions.)

Buying miles from AA costs over 2.5/mile when you figure in all the fees. Not worth it unless you need a few to top off an award and have no other way to get them in time. You can get them for less by flying, if you shop sales and Web specials carefully, and see someplace interesting in the bargain.

(edited to add the "C" at the start of "Citibank")
