quick Q re stopovers

I haven't used an OWE since the rule changes; I have a quick question regarding stop-overs and I'd appreciate your intelligence.

Say I purchase an ex-NRT OWE. I understand that I have four segments and two s/o to go; I assume that passing through HKG twice shouldn't be a problem as has always been; but is it possible to do the two stopovers in HKG?

i.e. is NRT-o/HKG-Europe-NA-o/HKG-NRT allowed? Or does either one have to be an x/.

Many thanks for your help.

That is OK. I have done something very similar on more than one occasion using tickets bought in TPE.
