Overcrowding of ZRH lounge likely
As not all Oneworld (and Skyteam) flyers are reading the LX forum, I would like to alert you of a quite dramatic change of the A/B/D lounge situation in Zurich (ZRH) from 27 August 2017 until spring 2018: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/swiss...ng-2018-a.html
Because LX will send eligible customers to the Aspire lounge, which is used by Oneworld carriers (AB, BA, IB, RJ) in one section and AY plus Skyteam in the other section, this undoubtedly affect Oneworld (and Skyteam) passengers. The Aspire lounge serving the A/B/D gates is already extremely crowded during peak hours right now and definitely will have no capacity to allocate additional LX pax
Now just to make sure everyone gets the magnitude of the issue: LX has its homebase at ZRH, so it's not just another small airline using the facilities ...
I expect some capacity limitations will be imposed also to eligible Oneworld (and Skyteam) customers
PS: Those oneworld airlines departing from E gates (AA, CX, QR, some BA flights in particular those to LCY) should not be affected, since the LX E lounges remain open.

Bump- does anyone have an idea about the best OW lounge in ZRH currently? I think we leave from E and it looks like there are two lounges there for OW, we are emerald and sapphire in J on AA.
