Help with OWE x/Brazil

Hi everyone,

I'm about to dive in head first into the RTW thing, and I have no idea where to begin. I can't seem to find any info on originating in Brazil. It has to be cheaper right now with the currency devaluation, so I'm thinking I better get moving.

I would like to go in March, all F, 2 people, and the only places I really want to hit are London, Prague, Budapest and maybe a little Russia. The real goal is to re-qualify for EXP on one trip

Any ideas or thoughts would be great.

Thanks,

Flip

You'll find the prices on FewMiles site under "all south america" or something like that and you will no doubt be disappointed to find out that they are priced in US dollars. so you will get no benefit from the recent devaluation.

Yes I can confirm that BRAZIL's fares are now priced in USD and they are in fact the same as originating from USA!

Talk about losing customers when times are tough!

Flipside;

I think you should consider getting a o/w ticket to AKL and starting your trip there. Proceeding on to Asia, Africa, Europe, N. America then S. America I think you could reach your goal (or get very close) to EXP.

In Brazil International trips have always been priced in USD, regardless of local currency.
