Oneworld newbie question

This issue has probably been discussed here a hundred times, but could someone tell me whether it is possible to combine miles between two different oneworld partner airlines for a single RT ticket on one partner airline? The materials provided on the oneworld site are confusing, as are FF award pages on the various airline sites.

Thanks in advance!!!

Hunter

No you cannot do this. Only possible way is to purchase 2 x one-way awards. But that won't work with QF since their awards are all assumed to be round-trips and the points required are for return to the original port.

As NM says, you can only do it as two one-way awards (I have recently got some for a relative on BA using BA miles in one direction and AsiaMiles in the other).

Some schemes (e.g. BA European) have one-way awards at 50% of round trip, but others (e.g. AsiaMiles) have a price slightly above 50%.
