LOS/ACC experiences
I'm curious about how many people have done either Accra or Lagos as a one day turn around and whether or not there were any problems with the authorities at either end. I'd also like to hear about experiences of people who decided to spend some time in both places.

While I have never done a same-day turn around in either city, if you have to pick one, I would suggest Accra. Lagos is simply not a nice city. Not much to do, not safe, utterly corrupt and you will be hassled as a foreigner. Accra, on the other hand, is quite the reverse. It's one of the nicer cities in Africa, and the people are very friendly.
If you find yourself short on time in Lagos, you will need a few well placed dollars to ease your passage through the airport.

I noticed that the turnaround time at ACC is 2 hours and 40 minutes. Is that enough time for a passenger to make a same day turnaround. With only carry-on baggage, will I be able to check-in for the return portion at LHR or will I need to check-in again upon arrival at ACC.
