Has This Ever Happened to You?
Imagine my surprise upon checking-in at my hotel in Bali to learn that my credit card was over its limit. Since I paid it off before I left for my trip and did not have many charges since leaving, visions of credit card fraud danced in my head.
When I called the credit card company, it turned out the culprit was a $6449.80 charge from American. As this was roughly the price of my current AONE5 ticket, it seemed awfully coincidental.
I bought the ticket last September and paid for it in full on another credit card. I did have the ticket reissued back in early July, but the date of the transaction was 3/31/02 and it posted on 7/12/02.
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have had a similar problem with the reissuing of BA tickets by third party ticket staff at a small airport - when they printed the new ticket off my amex card was charged again.
this happen three times last Fall since then I have avoided changing tickets through taht particular airport
