oneworld FFP advice sought
Hi all - I'm predominantly a *A flyer and will likely stay that way as the Star network suits be better than oneworld at this point.
However I will need to fly oneworld carriers from time to time and would like to find the best FFP to bank those miles.
My travel patterns are:
- based in SIN.
- will occasionally fly QF, BA, CX in discounted economy, discounted business class, or BA World Traveller Plus.
Objectives:
- entry or mid-tier status (won't fly enough to get top-tier) - allowing for priority waitlisting, check-in, baggage when flying in Y.
- mileage-based upgrades for personal travel.
Additional consideration:
- if (and only IF) i hit my targetted UA1K status this year with some time to spare, I may consider doing my planned year-end vacation using OWE RTW (in biz) to get higher OW status and miles for 2003.
Thanks in advance for any kind input.
Niels
