Point credit nightmares - BA to AA and QF

Having just started by RTW I have been checking my flight credits carefully. I've got a boarding pass for SEZ-LHR with my AA number on it, but it's been credited to QF!

Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks,

You obviously had given your QF number to BA at some stage.

BA's computers remembers the first number you give them irrespective of whatever you do afterwards.

The only thing I can suggest is to get QF to 'delete' the miles on your QF acount as well as give you a letter rightly stating so so that you may provide the information to AA. Does your boarding pass say AA? That should be enough proof of your intentions plus the letter that QF is to give you to forward to AA - but make sure you talk to them first.

Good luck.

Thanks Guy, what I will probably do is just to rearrange the rest of my flights credit in order to maximise status and not miles AND status. Hence my QF LAX-MEL now goes to AA rather than QF to restore the 8000 Q miles in AA I lost when the SEZ flights mis posted.

Thanks for the advice,
