Max Miles for Aussie portion
I planned my RTW and would like any advice especially how can maximize (Yet have some FUN) in Aussie. BTW, I never been to Aussie so any suggestions for destinations will be great as well.

Since the OEW only allow 2 stopovers in Aussie (origin con), any suggestions for how I can visit SYD,MEL,Goldcoast? Other cities I should go (fly) and worth both visiting and miles?)
Thanks!

If you're only allowed two stop-overs in Oz, I'd probably suggest using Sydney and Perth as your two stops. From here you can use Qantas Red-E-Deals on the website www.qantas.com.au to fly to Melbourne and the Gold Coast. My suggestion would be fly SYD-MEL (either AUD $77 or $88 one way plus tax) then MEL-OOL (Gold Coast) (either AUD $132 or $143 one way plus tax) and then OOL-SYD (either AUD $77 or $88 one way plus tax) before heading off to Perth.
Being your first trip to Australia, the above itinerary would give you a good general feel for what this wonderful country has to offer. You could add more stops, but it really depends on what you want to see and do, as well as how much time you have. But to be honest, you will find no shortage of things to do and see in Sydney, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Perth.
You will also get miles on all the cheap internet flights with Qantas, the only thing to be wary of is that once you purchase them they are non-refundable and non-changeable. So do your homework before booking.
Hope this helps.

Even though you can only do two stopovers you still get the four segments for South Pacific. Meaning you can go to a couple of other palces so long as you don't stay more than 24 hours.
Be careful how the rule is interpreted. I've had different explanations on this. The AA RTW desk seems to be the most knowledgable.
