Please help me build an Itinerary.

Intrestingly,They mix & match STAR & O.W. carriers. I am intrested in this for the summer. I want to take a 6-8 week journey to see the world.(if I can grt the time) Of course as a flyertalker mileage accumulation is important , but in this instance given the expense of the trip and the oppportunity costs,it is a secondary consideration. That said
are there any suggestions for maximizing AAdvantage Status mileage?
