BA Miles on other Oneworld carriers ?

People,

It might be an obvious question, but can you use BA airmiles to redeem an award flight on all other Oneworld carriers ?

If so, is the redemption rate at the same as you would use with BA for the same flight ?

If not all accept BA miles, can you pls let me know which ones do ?

Thanks

JAP

Is that Air Miles or regular miles earned in the Executive Club programme? Check the BA forum if the latter.

The BA forum is a better place to ask about EC miles but in general you would book any reward travel through BA for the partner you wish to travel on. Thus you'd call the EC and tell them you wish a reward ticket on whatever carrier in whatever class for the dates that you wish.

Only US based members of Exec Club can redeem miles on OneWorld carriers. UK members may use BA ONLY.

You can definitely use UK Exec Club BA miles to redeem flights on other Oneworld carriers. The handbooks just don't specify how many miles are required though.
If you try and book on-line with another carrier on a route that BA doesn't serve (eg HKG-SIN), the page asks that you call the Exec Club reservations number.
