Follow-up to Using the last Segment of a OWE
Thanks fro all the info.
It was mentioned that a good strategy would be to change the date of the final segment to the last day of validity for the ticket.
However, wouldn't this involve a stopover in a continent that the traveler has already departed and thus not possible?
Also, is the last date of vailidty for the ticket one year from the datew of purchase, or one year from the date of the first flight?

i wdn't bother to change the reservation at all. if they can't change it, u have more excuse.
and, what if you have conveniently "lost' that ticket?
i dont thk the airlines wd bother about this.
FYI, it is the date of first segment. that is why u need to re-issue if u change the first segment, because then all the coupon wd show a different validity date
