New OW Itin to look @
First off I would like to say THANKS to you all for your other posts and web sites to help me understand how OW works, OK after weeks of planing I think I have my Itin but I would like for you guys to look it over for me and tell me if it will fly
( / = Land)
mel-BKK / sin-BOM / DEL-hkg-MNL-tpe-nrt-dfw-SJO-MIA-NYC-SAN / LAX-sxm-sju-LAX-scl-IPC-scl-CCS-scl-RIO-nyc-HEL-MAD / ROM-DUB / LHR-CAI-lhr-syd-mel
(paying for the 3 extra flights) I plan to be gone most of the year for this trip (its my after school dream trip
Here are my questions
1. I am taking this trip in Economy so I am trying to avoid CX as much as possible so I would like to know if anybody else flys from DEL to anywhere
2. Where can I fly to in SW Pacific from Europe to max my miles?
3. Is there any other way to get to Japan from Asia not on CX? Maybe a code share or something
4. What is the best way (in Economy) to get from Asia to NA, all I could get was NRT-DFW maybe there are some code shares I havent found??
5. Are any of there places not safe anymore (like CAI or CCS, I havent found anything bad online about them, Im going alone and want to be safe)
6. All of the stops in CAPS are places that I would like to spend time in so if you can come up with a dif route then this I would like to see it
7. 7. What are some good Europe Mileage runs that dont use the middle east (except CAI), willing to pay for extra flights
Thanks again~!

Thank you for your TIME!!

i dont' think there is MNL-TPE on OW.
u can go mnl-hkg-tpe on Ba or cx (but mind u BA flights are 3/week and time might not work out), for schedule check get the OW tripplanner form CX.com. not sure about
1. i dont know why u tried to avoid CX. the pitch is not as good as AA, but otherwise no different than any other OW partner in Y, except much better food and services. i assume u will be elite (at least after one continent) CX might even op. upgrade u once u finished with the PLT challenge!
3. i dont think there is other way to go to japan. code-share from non-OW is NOT permitted anyway
4. many on CX, i think u should try *A if u really dont like CX. For us CX is THE reason to fly OW (well, plus Aadvantage the FFP, not AA the airline.). *A had 3 partners in Asia, all are of top quality within the alliance. SQ ia as good as CX, NH almost as good.

Thanks for the reply
I'm trying to avoid CX because I don't think they give any miles for Economy flights in RTW tickets (Booked in M class I think) I could be wrong tho, I'm AA Gold if that makes any diffrence
I guess I'll have to lose TPE and just go from MNL-HKG-NRT
Thanks again~!

it perhaps will be worthwhile for u to borrow a Canadian address for such a trip.
then u have a lot more choice/mile for flying trans-pacific.
also the AA bouns for flying CX is always higher for US destination if u r canadian AADV, and vice versa
