I'll pass on the message to anon.

For a long-term plan, I'm thinking of changing the price tables to use a "database" to store the data and to use JavaScript to pull up whatever country you want (or all of them) and incorporate some sort of currency conversion function.

Rich:

AA finally updated their prices in Sabre.

It looks like they raised the fares across the board.

ARN, WDH are still cheapest

Yesterday I called BA to get some information about the OWE and GE and the prices that they quoted me was the same as those currently on FewMiles site.(ex-usa and ex can)I called and talked to 3 different CSR's. Maybe their computers haven't been updated. Which would be odd.

A little voice told me all the updated prices and rules. They'll be up very soon.

What school of Economics did these people go to?

Scenario 1
Major terrorist incident coupled with economic recession causes serious drop in load factors. What do you do?

A) Hold prices steady
B) Decreases prices to encourage customers
C) Raise prices by 20% to cover losses

I'm pretty certain that if I answered (C) I would have flunked the exam! But that's what the airlines are doing. Has the world gone mad or is it just me?

Gaza, in their defense, they decided this before the incident. But it was still a misguided decision, in my opinion.
