Lan Chile Miles
Well, I woke up this morning with a grand surprise. Lan Chile Miles flooded my account. Lots and lots of them, both from flights that I disputed 3 months ago and from the ones taken a few days ago and last week. Maybe, just maybe, they got the systems to recognize each other? I will be cautiously optimistic for now, but if any of you fly them coming up, can you post when the miles hit your account? See if I was a freakish oddity or if the problem is getting solved.
Thanks

Thanks, clacko. I assume this is a one class flight, but many (including me) have had many problems in the past with LA miles posting. Especially in F. Thank you, though, for letting us know. I hate to admit that their not posting my miles actually affected my decision to use them on my second trip (much to my dismay), and I want a reason not to do that again. AA has given me enough reason by itself, but having those miles post in a reasonable amount of time would really help in instilling confidence in me. I can't believe that I am alone on this, either.

i was in y class per aaboard pass. plane was all coach. meals were pretty good. on return boarding pass is l class. according to fare on receipt, the la was same price both way - so prob l class on 1st rather trhan y. dfw-scl-dfw was n class & was upgraded on vipow's. admirals club in scl is fabulous. only prob was no glenlivet. had a 2.75 hr layover in scl on return. no post since earlier response today. i really don't expect anything for a week or so. the aer lingus posting in 1 week [memtioned above] really surprised me. will be home until 8/19. then out of contact til 9/7 unless ms amsterdam has internet. haven't bothered to ask- not completely addicted yet.

8/2 scl-cor posted 411 mi + 589 bonus. return on 8/5 also posted. both happened early today. it is about 5am cdt now. looks like the probs are fixed. thanks for paving the way, darren. i now have 19 partners posted! just ordered # 20. admirals club in scl is very nice & on a par w/ most business lounges for snacks & drinks. it has an attractive decor, unlike the sterile look of ac's here.
