Help on Maximizing RTW European Stops...
I'm still planning my RTW trip starting in BKK. I want to gain the maximum BA tier points for the European Stops.
Are DXB and TLV the two places where I can get 150 tier points in First? I think the criteria for getting 150 points are for destinations over 2000 miles. (Can anyone verify? Are there any other destinations?
I am planning:
BKK-HKG
HKG-LHR
LHR-TLV
TLV-LHR
LHR-DXB
DXB-LHR
LHR-US (haven't finalized the plans yet)
Thanks for your help.

You can't go to both TLV and DXB due to the following rule.
The best direct flights I could find out of LHR that comply with the rule were to DXB and IST. Unfortunately, IST is only 1500 miles from LHR.

dont thk we can get more 150 in europe.
but what u can get in US is simple:
LHR-west coast --- then use the transcont to go west-east coast on some fliught with P class (so that u get better seats).
Question: for those 1700pt companion and 2400pt twin upgrade and 1/2 mileage upgrade; they r only valid for transatlantic flights?
if i have DONE3 on hkg-lhr-usa, can i use them?

I just booked a RTW OW in F. Tried to max.
out LHR stop. Best I found was lhr-dxb-lhr
and lhr-ist-lhr. I was amazed which cities
could not be used again. Such as tlv, led
and lis. I am doing continents- North
America, South Pacific, Asia and Europe with
50,000 base miles. Trying all of the OW
Suite Seats. Service from LHR to IST is
Business. Sorry about that.
