OW connection hub preference poll
there was a ORD vs DFW as a hub poll in AA forum. i would like to ask for your opinion for OW transfer, i.e. AA to BA/CX
let's start with the main ports: JFK, ORD, DFW, LAX, SFO, YYZ, YVR, MIA
we could talk about connection, delay, etc. but any comment is valuable
i will begin with comments based on my own limited experience
1. JFK, a big mess, the recent introduction of oneworld shuttle (at gate 40A) helped a lot, but still a big hassle
2. ORD, DFW: haven't tried myself, would like your opinions
3. LAX: tom bradley is lopcated in between AA's T3/T4. BA counter closer to T4 (longhaul AA), so it is not a big hassle if unless you are going to Vegas
4. YYZ: the biggest hassle is the immigration/custom control if you are coming from US, can't they build a transit area in canada? -- the canadian airports are always better than those in US, but i guess they should be avoided in winter if there is a blizzard? -- and i guess the answer to YVR is similar?
5. MIA: this airport is too big, but the good thing is you don't have to take the stupid buses like those in JFK
6. SFO: lot of walking from int'l to domestic, i heard there is something new recently? what about SJC?
