Question regarding OneWorld partners & FF Miles...

I'm just starting to look into the options of booking a flight to Sydney using miles. I was planning on booking it with AA, but I also have some extra miles with BA that I won't really use otherwise. Is it possible to combine miles from American and British Airways for a flight as long as it's on a OneWorld partner?
Thanks!

Sorry, it is not possible to combine miles in that way. However, if you have mileage that is close to what is required, it never hurts to talke to customer service and see what they can do for you
