Visit "X" Continent passes - usable with miles?

Visit "X" Continent passes - usable with miles?
If you fly to a continent using miles, are you eligible to buy a visit Asia, Europe, etc...? Or are the passes only usable if you bought a ticket to the continent using $$$?

Yes you may... as long as you purchase the Visit xxx ticket prior to arriving at that continent and that you are not a resident of that continent!
