Around the World Trip

I am planning on taking a round the world trip and visiting all 6 continents. Is there a specific order by which you have to fly between the 6 ( I would like to travel between Australia and Africa, not Asia and Africa, as I understand Cathay Pacific does not offer frequent flyer miles for that leg.) Also, does anyone know how long the 100,000 mile bonus is going to be around from AA?

One simple rule - they must be adjacent continents. Therefore a Australia/Asia flight to Africa would both be okay but Australia to Europe would not as no matter which way you go, you're stuck with going via another continent (until those new super long range 777's that boeing has planned come in PER->LHR direct ).

I think the AA bonus will be around the same as everyone. So, I would assume, until the 31st of August.
