When will 100K bonus miles post?
Does anyone know when the 100K bonus miles will be posted to Aadvantage accounts? Will it be in January, after the promotion is over, or each time you earn a bonus? I am in the middle of a trip BOS-LHR, LHR-TXL, MIL-MAD, MAD-LHR, LHR-BOS (AA, BA, and IB) that should at least earn me 25K. Wondering when I get to use it...planning an around-the-world for next July.
Thanks --Ed

Just completed round the world trip using AA,IB, BA, CX, and QF.
Miles were posted as I traveled. First 25,000 for the three, then another 25,000 for the forth, and then another 50,000 for the fifth. The bonus miles beat me home!

Iberia hasn't posted yet. Flight was 2 November. Other flights (BA/AA) have posted. I know my AA number was in the reservation, and I gave the desk agent my Platinum card. But my AA number doesn't appear on the boarding card.
When should I start getting nervous?

Yeah! Miles posted today - that was easy! Now I just have to figure out the easiest flight I can take on Canadian to get another 25K. I'm based in Boston..anyone have any bright ideas? I think most Canadian flights out of here are either codeshare or go all the way to the west coast.

just do a websaver. check out their site on wed for travel fri after 7 or sat with return mon/tues. i think they might also have a sale on right now. if you are posting the miles in your aa account, the flight just has to be coded cp. if you're posting to a cp or ba account, the flight must actually be on a cp plane.

CP has 4x daily from Boston to Toronto, and daily flight to Vancouver. 3 out of the 4 flights to Toronto are NOT code-share, they are operated by Canadian Regional F28, which I believe will count towards the bonus. The other is a 737. Flights to Vancouver is on a 320.
Cheapest way is to follow the "Web Special" section on the CP site and catch one of those frequent weekend fare between Boston and Toronto. You could fly to Toronto this weekend for US$ 106, or CAD$ 155. This flight shows up often.

I noticed that after many months unchanged, some of the Websaver fares inched up slightly this time.
For instance, the $255 YVR-YOW is $265 this week. And $245 YVR-YYZ is $255 (which is good for the person who remarked he couldn't use his $50 certificate from Holt Renfrew).
