Codeshares and 100k bonus

Has anyone ever received a straight answer from AA about how codeshares work in this promotion? The last time I called them, they didn't know anything about this offer at all. If you were to read the page on AA's web site literally, you would conclude that it was the carrier traveled, not the carrier ticketed, that would count. The page says:

In addition, you can earn thousands of bonus miles when you purchase an eligible ticket and travel with three or more different oneworld airlines.** ....

25,000 mile bonus if you travel on 3 different oneworld carriers
50,000 mile bonus if you travel on 4 different oneworld carriers
100,000 mile bonus if you travel on 5 or more different oneworld carriers

**All flights must be marketed and operated by an oneworld carrier and eligible for AAdvantage miles.

Has anyone reached a different conclusion and where did you get your information? And if AA is reading this, I hope they clarify the question on their web site.

As I understand it: All flights must be marketed (=carrier ticketed) and operated (=carrier traveled) by an oneworld carrier and eligible for AAdvantage miles. As long as you meet both criteria (ticketed and traveled on oneworld carrier) it will count for your bonus miles.

AA code share and flying Qantas/Cathay/Finnair/Iberia/BA does count.
(but not BA transatlantic flights because they are not eligible for AAdvantage miles). AA code share but flying JAL/SAA or El Al or any other non-oneworld carrier will not count.

That didn't answer the question. To phrase it more clearly, take a flight operated by AA, but with a ticket showing a CP code. For this promotion, it matters whether that counts as an AA flight or as a CP flight.

Based on a past experience I would think that the actual flight number on your tix would count towards the promo. i.e. AAoperated w/ CP code would get you one segment w/ CP.

I'm thinking (hoping) that BA trans-atlantic will still count for the one-world bonus - yes?

Cheers,
