RTW route and aircraft opinions

Hi,

I have been playing RTW tool a lot this week but i`am going to need help choosing planes, routes and maybe someone can even help me find better places

Route is:

MPM-DOH-HEL-BCN-MIA-(sidetrip to caribbean or mexico)-NYC-NRT-xHGK-DPS-xHKG-MLE-...

From this trip i`am going to look three things: Big cities, beaches and try to route myself the way that I can experience best business classes that are in these areas (I haven`t fly Asia based airlines never so cant wait those!)
I need to come HEL in the beginning of the trip after DOH and take couple months break before trip continues so thats why HEL in the middle (well.. here is beach also but..).

I`am AY emerald when this trip starts so I also prefer AY metal or codeshare and BCN-MIA fits great on that because that should be available on codeshare AY4009 also. I didn`t find info is that retrofit 777-200 or old one. If it`s old one I think I re-route that but let`s see.
JFK-NRT should be JAL 787 and their sky suites something i really need to see and if i`am right JFK-NRT is only US-JPN route with JAL 787 and those better sky suites.

After TYO things are getting harder because:

A.) I have never fly CX and want to see their best seats that are available in Asia.
B.) I want to see one of these cities after TYO that i haven`t see: Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur
C.) I want to go at least one beach location and DPS is the best what i have came up (and I`am HHonors Diamond so I prefer places with Hilton and Conrad Bali looks good)

Then Male is definitely on my bucket list so Asia tour have to include that one.

After those I have to route myself back to the South Africa but in reality I go back to HEL so I`am going to skip last leg(s) but i don`t know what would be best way to do it. MLE-DOH-MPM and skip the last leg or can I somehow route my self to HEL through SIN, HKG, BKK, PEK or PVG where AY uses A350 but that would definitely means i have to skip last two legs.. JAL also uses 787 on NRT-HEL with AY codeshare so that is tempting also.

Any help finding best route back and best business product in the sky that fits somehow this route would be really appreciated.

After flying only from HEL to different destinations in Asia and NA it`s amazingly exiting trying to figure out best routes and places. I fear that after this trip AY is just not enough

If you're playing around with the online tool for this, as a thought experiment try substituting CAI for MPM as your origin point. This would reduce the number of continents by one (so you'd be buying a DONE3 rather than a DONE4.) And since your route is mainly North America- and Asia-intensive, the downside of a "Europe" origin - maximum two stopovers in the continent of origin - wouldn't be a terrible burden. A route like this might be possible, for example: CAI-DOH-HEL-JFK-YVR-LAX-DFW-SJU-MIA-JFK-HKG-MLE-HKG-NRT-SIN-HEL-DOH . Note I've dropped DPS but this could be easily purchased as a side trip from SIN (around EUR100 return). Obviously this is quite changed from your original itinerary but I hope you get the idea.

In fact, a DONE4 bought in Egypt has (for the time being) a lower base cost in Euros than one bought in Mozambique, and obviously Egypt is easier and cheaper to reach for "positioning" than MPM. So you could - if interested - really change things around and add some beautiful cities and beaches with no net loss in cost, maybe something like this - CAI-DOH-HEL-JFK-SXM-MIA-JFK-YVR-LAX-SYD-CNS-SYD-HKG-NRT-SIN-HEL-DOH. Like I said, play with it.

Note this drops MLE, which I would skip out of personal choice (politics) but I'm sure there would be a way of including the Maldives if you so desire.

I haven't delved into the various aircraft/configuration options, but for example I've included the likes of CX's JFK-YVR route for its terrific 77W service, and Qantas on LAX-SYD so you could ride in the whale, things like that.
