Oneworld benefits on non-oneworld issued ticket?

Apologies if this question has been already answered. If I use Etihad miles for an award flight on American Airlines (AA coded flight, so technically oneworld marketed and operated?) and add my BA Gold number to the reservation, will I be eligible for oneworld benefits?

As Rami Tamimi said "Yes you will"

It matters not how you paid for the ticket (Etihad miles, cash, camels...) the important things are Oneworld-marketed and Oneworld-operated

However, your booking will show your Etihad FF number, so you might want to phone AA and see if you can change that to your BAEC number - that way your status will show on your boarding pass making lounge access etc easier
