BA Code, AA Metal Lounge Access
Hi guys, I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I want to confirm....

If I'm in J on a BA code to MAD, but it's on AA metal, can I use the Galleries Lounge in T7 at JFK and then take the bus over to T8 for my flight. Or do I only have access to the Admirals Club in T8? I don't have any OW status. Thanks!

No, you will not have access to the BA Galleries Lounge. You will have access to the AC in T8.

For clarity sake, there is no bus between T7 and T8 at JFK. Despite having so many OW airlines in the two terminals, and all of the many intra-alliance connections between the two terminals, there is in fact no connection between the two other than the free AirTrain and the public roadway (i.e. taxis), both of which are outside of security. Given that your flight departs from T8, you would not have a valid boarding pass that would permit you to clear security to enter T7.
