I believe I read somewhere that the exact rule is that if the airline operating the lounge allowed its own elites access, then they must allow other OW elites access, correct? So, if FlySmiles elites are excluded from accessing the Serendib lounge, UL is not breaking the rule?

Still, it does appear they still allow other OW J passengers access to the Serendib lounge.

On the other hand, they seem to allow Etihad Platinum/Gold members in even if flying SriLankan in Y.... interesting.

The updated access page is here:

any recent visit feedback?

Checking in: has anyone traveling in J been able to guest in someone? I still have not been able to secure a J award seat for my husband on UL 454 CMB-NRT Feb. 26. I'm in J, he's in econ and none too happy. If he can at least access the lounge preflight and take a shower after a long day of touring it will help ease the pain of being stuck in the back of the plane for 8 hours. Neither one of us have Priority Pass, whatever that is.
